For some reason, Sony has been pretty secretive of the pS4, which is most likely going to be fully unveiled at E3 this summer. New details were passed on as Sony explained the new console will support 4K video and photos. Of course, with 4K TV's not so prominent in today's society, it won't be a huge breakthrough. In a couple of years, when 4K TV's are mainstream we will start to notice this massive improvement of technology. Companies have started to realize Apple's way of strategy: to shift services to more downloads and less physical copies. Sony is now allowing every single PS4 title...

Building OS X Mountain Lion on a USB Flash Drive

Posted by: Erphan Al-Delgir    Tags:  Featured, Mac App Store, Mountain Lion    Posted date:  July 25, 2012  |  No comment

With the imminence of the cloud and the ability to just download Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store at any time - at first, there seems to be no use for this little trick. However, when your hard drive has failed or you need to do a quick reinstall of your operating system, you may not have ready access to the internet. Even if you do have access to the internet only 2011 (and newer) Macs have the ability to download OS X (Mountain) Lion directly from the Mac App Store without a fully functioning operating system. Having the Mountain Lion on a USB Flash Drive (or a partition on a hard drive)...

Walkthrough: Tiny Wings HD

Posted by: Erphan Al-Delgir    Tags:  app review, App Store, Featured, Games, ipad app, tiny wings    Posted date:  July 16, 2012  |  No comment

Coming as an inevitable progression, Tiny Wings is finally available as a native iPad App! The original, hit iPhone App went through the roof in sales and popularity but there wasn't yet an iPad app - until just a few days ago. The breakthrough iPhone app now uses the wonderful screen real estate of the New iPad and provides a number of features over its iPhone companion. In retrospect, the theme and audio selections on Tiny Wings HD reminds me of Yoshi's Island from the GameBoy Advance and Nintendo DS. With a similarly innocent theme and plot line - there are some distinct...

Video: Apple Smart Case vs. Smart Cover

Posted by: Erphan Al-Delgir    Tags:  Featured, iPad, Smart Cover    Posted date:  July 12, 2012  |  No comment

Apple released the very popular Smart Cover, side by side with the iPad 2. Being a wonderful accessory to keep your iPad 2's beautiful screen protected - the Smart Cover undoubtedly became one of the most popular accessories for the iPad 2. Fast forward to the New iPad (often incorrectly called the iPad 3) and the Smart Cover's legitimacy as a top iPad accessory was still second to few others. The Leather and Polyurethane iPad display covers definitely complimented the iPad well. Then came WWDC 2012. While not nearly as exciting to the likes of Mountain Lion or the Retina MacBook Pro - the iPad...

Posted by: Nathan Dickson    Tags:  4, amazon, Amazon Kindle, e-books, e-readers, Featured, kindle, kindle 4, Review    Posted date:  December 29, 2011  |  2 Comments

The fourth generation Kindle, released by Amazon in August, 2011, is the thinnest, cheapest and best kindle ever. It rocks an all new design, added features and lower price tag than ever. We were lucky enough to get our hands on one of these brilliant devices, thus we're writing this review. So let's get started. You open the packaging (which is amazingly easy to open, may we add) to find the Kindle itself, a Micro-USB to USB charging cable and a piece of paper telling you how to turn on your Kindle, and where the buttons are and what they do. Nothing else. Amazon is definitely doing it's...
