To say that I'm excited about tomorrow's announcement would be a bit of an understatement. According to a some sources, Apple's next iteration of the iPhone will feature a new, re-designed dock connector. Apple is replacing the 30-pin dock connector with a smaller 19-pin connector. Apple will likely make space for more powerful components on the iPhone and definitely add a larger battery. When I was covering WWDC two weeks ago, I saw all of these amazing features being thrown out to the audience at the convention center. However, one thing that always came to my mind was how all of these features would be compatible on systems like iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS.
